Ancient Theater of Epidaurus Aeschylus' "Persians" as part of the Athens and Epidaurus Festival on Saturday 25 /7. The project aimed to offer the international audience the opportunity to experience live, even online, the first surviving tragedy of Aeschylus in the birthplace of ancient drama, sending a message of optimism to the whole world. The Artistic Director Dimitris Lignadis characteristically notes: "Culture is the child of the education of a place, but at the same time it also belongs to the whole of humanity, which has the right to unity and bridging distances, even when conditions do not allow it.


The reception of the initiative, both by remote viewers and critics, has been enthusiastic."
